Returning, 11 New Post, and The Bro Code Book Review

NOTE: Edited to add complete bro code articles below.

it’s almost a year since my last post and honestly I’m really thinking of shutting down the blog already. I’ve been to busy and there are so many endeavors to attend that i neglected this one.  Anyhow after seeing a colleague at work setting up her new blog, I kind of miss doing my own thing here as well so here I am updating posts. So let’s just say let’s keep the blogging about gibberish continues until 2011.

For start there were a lot of things that happened during my hiatus so I’ll be doing an 11 eleven new post marathon, about movies I’ve seen, shows I’ve watched, music I’ve listened, jokes I’ve heard, books I’ve read, etc. etc. And how about a new season of Tagalog Talk? Vlog maybe. I’m not promising but I’ll keep my fingers crossed.

Anyhow let’s continue to the third matter. You know I’ve been hooked to an American sitcom entitled “How I met Your Mother” but that’s just for another post. What I’m talking here is the book “The Bro Code” written by Barney Stinson, whom is a character from the series, and it’s writer Matt Kuhn. The book is actually a compilation of fictional rules governing men’s suited actions toward another men… or your bro! It maybe fictional but let’s say 40% of the content of the book is somehow ripped from true behavior of Bros to one another (e.g Article No.1: Bros before Hos). This 209 pages book looks thick but you can actually finish reading it bout an hour or two, and could find yourself laughing even in the few first pages alone. The Bro Code is said to be written by Barney Stinson, and funny thing is you can really tell it’s the awesome, narcissistic, chic finding guy who wrote it. If you love the series you will love the book as well. Suit up! and get a copy.

COMPLETE ARTICLES OF THE BRO CODE:

Article 1:
Bros before hoes. Always remember, girlfriends come and go, but your boys are always there. Breaking this rule is to commit the cardinal sin against Team Testosterone.

Article 2:
Never drink the last beer, unless you’ve been granted specific permission that it’s OK.

Article 3:
If a girl falls into the following criteria, she is off limits forever until the end of time:

A. Was an ex-girlfriend.
B. Your friend specifically told you he wanted her.
C. Is you’re buddy’s sister.

However, if it’s your buddy’s cousin, well she’s up for grabs, and you’re welcome to rub it in his face for years to come.

Article 4:
Never diss a guy if his team just lost a crushing game.

Article 5:
You must never own a cat.

New amendment to this rule: A Bro may never own more than 2 cats, but only if they adhere to the Bro Code

Article 6:
If you get 2 tickets to the big game, the priority list for granting the second ticket is as follows:

1. Your best friends (in order of how long you’ve known them).
2. Your acquaintances.
3. Your co-workers.
4. The mailman.
5. The UPS guy.
6. NASA.
7. John Kerry.
….1,485,726. Your girlfriend.

Genre: Fantasy / Adaptation

Release Date: March 5, 2010

” Too ordinary to be considered as Burton’s”

Alice now a nineteen year old women returns to Underland (Wonderland – Maybe Alice heard it wrong the first time she’s there) to be reunited with her old friends, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, Ceshire Cat, Dormouse, White Rabbit, and The Mad Hatter.
